Allana and the Slammers finished another great season with a winning record of 7-1 in regular season and they finished 3rd in the tournament. Great job girls and coaches!
Well, thanks to my friends and family I got lots of surprises for my 40th birthday. The weekend before, my dear sweet friend Lora planned a surprise weekend get away to Austin. Lora, Cindy, Monica and I drove to Austin and spent the weekend in leisure. We shopped, had pedicures and long leisurely dinners!
Then on the 15th, my family gave me cards and flowers and said they were taking me out to eat. They did. They took me to Railhead where a bunch of my friends (didn't know I had so many) were there to surprise me and help me celebrate. It was lots of fun!
And the weekend after, Reagan took me to dinner at the 9Steakhouse in Dallas. His reps were so very kind to bless us with a gift certificate for dinner there. It was very chic!
My cousin Laura is getting married! We had a bridal shower for her today in Richardson at the Wildflour Cafe. It was a wonderful lunch and time to visit with family and friends. Look at all these girls....
Daisy came to visit and go to Grandparent's Lunch at Coder with the big girls. She brought a surprise with her! She has a new puppy, an 8 week old long haired dachshund named "Reba Faye"!
Allana finally hit the age for Wednesday night OVERFLOW at New River. I am volunteering during the Wednesday night services, so Allana and I are really growing in our walks and loving all our new friends! We worship with the youth group, play games, eat pizza and do a Bible Study! What more can you ask for on a Wednesday night!!!!!
The first day of school was awesome. Allana is in Mrs. Blair's 5th grade class and Nadine is in Mrs. Tyer's 2nd at Coder Elementary in Aledo. They both like their teachers and said they were excited about their classes.
